Mr. Norbert Koehl

Norbert Koehl is general manager of Stonemill Bakehouse Ltd. a Toronto bakery specializing in organic and all-natural, healthy and nutritional breads for the Canadian and international markets. He is an active member of the Thornhill community, where he lives. He has served on the St. Anthony School council for five years, the past two as treasurer, and he has coached local soccer teams. He is fluent in English and German with a good understanding of French and has worked and lived in Hong Kong, Germany, and France. He has an honours degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario and also studied for two years at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany. He has been an active member of the Green Party for more than three years, having served as the Thornhill Greens' financial agent, official agent and CEO. Mr. Koehl has been married to his wife, Gisela, for 12 years. The couple has five boys, all younger than nine. He is also an avid cyclist and triathlete and enjoys hiking and spending time in the outdoors.
