Mr. Allen Small
 Riding: Markham-Unionville

Allen Small retired about a year ago having spent 35 years teaching Biology and Science — 30 years at public high schools in Scarborough, and the last five at a private high school in York Region. During those years he volunteered in clubs and teams at his schools and within the community.

Allen has lived in Unionville since 1975 with Rita, his wife of 34 years — also a retired school teacher. They have two children: a son, who is a Professional Engineer, working in Markham, and a daughter, who has been working as a journalist across the country and now lives in Toronto.

Allen entered politics now because as a retired person he has an opportunity to act on some long held beliefs.
